Music Composition

This week I have been working on composing some music that I could use in a game. Though I have made some attempts at making the music work well in the environment I will use it in, I am currently struggling to make it a looping track so that the music won't stop or restart from the exact beginning if left idle for long enough. Otherwise I have been using an acoustic guitar to get some basic chord progressions done. The chord progression I have been working on is a Em, C, G, Am chord progression with a capo in use on the first fret. I might also consider using a keyboard to get some piano scores for the game as I do not want to rely on default music.

Careers Pt. 2

Going on from last week I have looked into careers in IT and especially within the fields that I would like to specialise in. When considering IT technician jobs so that I can work with the hardware side of PCs more, I could get a job locally and apply for places such as Jaycees PCs, CEX or Tim's PCs (Loving those original names). This would allow me to do well in a career as I feel that I am very skilled with computer hardware. On the other, I could go for my other career choice of game development if I have the ability to travel to other cities. I know that Sumo is based Sheffield which isn't too far away for a career and should I do well in making a game/game prototype, I could secure myself a placement.

Careers

This week, I have been working on a CV to give out to places that provide jobs centred around IT. I have been thoroughly proofreading this CV and making sure that it remains comprehensive yet concise. I also plan on it looking basic yet unique so that it stands out. To do this I plan on using a two/three type colour scheme using black, white and a dark colour like blue so it looks professional and doesn't appear to be childish. Hence why I would like to avoid bright colours.
